Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Air Design Electric collects through this website, why we collect it, and who we share it with. It describes what the site actually does — not a generic template.

We are a local HVAC and electrical contractor. We collect what we need to schedule and perform your service, and to understand which advertising brings people to us. We do not sell personal information.

Information you give us

The booking assistant is the main place this site collects personal information. If you use it to request an appointment, it collects:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address, if you provide one (optional)
  • The service address and city where the work would happen
  • Whatever you tell it about the problem, in your own words

The contact form does not send us anything directly

The contact form on our Contact page does not transmit your message to this website. When you submit it, your own email program opens with the message pre-filled, addressed to us. You choose whether to send it.

That means the name, phone number and message you type into that form are never received or stored by this website. If you send the email, we receive it the same way we receive any other email.

Information collected automatically

When you visit, we or our providers may record:

  • Your IP address — used to rate-limit the booking assistant so it cannot be abused. It is not stored alongside your booking.
  • Which pages you viewed and when.
  • Campaign tags in the web address (utm_source and similar) when you arrive from an ad, a postcard QR code, or a link we published. These tell us which advertising worked.
  • Standard technical information your browser sends, such as device and browser type, collected by the advertising tools described below.

Information stored in your browser

We store a few small values in your own browser. They stay on your device, we cannot read them remotely, and clearing your browser data removes them.

  • Your light or dark theme preference.
  • Whether you dismissed the notice about our name change.
  • The campaign tags from step above, kept for the current browsing session so a booking made a few clicks later is still credited to the right ad.
  • A random session identifier for the booking assistant. It is not tied to your identity and is used to keep your conversation together and to apply rate limits.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with the service providers we need to run the business, and only for that purpose:

  • Anthropic — powers the AI booking assistant. Your messages to the assistant are sent to Anthropic to generate the reply. Do not type payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive identifiers into the chat; it does not need them and never asks.
  • Housecall Pro — our scheduling and customer system. When you confirm an appointment, your name, phone, email, address and description of the problem are written there so we can dispatch a technician.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — advertising measurement. See the advertising section below.
  • Vercel — hosts this website and keeps standard server logs.

A note about our server logs

We want to be specific about one thing most privacy policies leave out.

If our scheduling system fails while you are booking, your details would otherwise exist only in your open browser tab and the request would be lost. To prevent that, a failed booking writes your name, phone number, address and the service requested to our server log so we can call you back. This happens only when a booking fails, never during normal browsing, and the entry is removed when those logs age out.

We consider losing a customer request worse than recording a name and phone number in a log we control. If you would rather that not happen, call us instead of booking online.

Advertising and the Meta pixel

We run ads on Facebook and Instagram. To know whether they work, this site loads the Meta pixel, which reports back to Meta when someone views the landing page, opens the booking assistant, books an appointment, or taps our phone number. Those reports include the campaign tags but not your name, phone number, or address.

Meta may combine that information with what it already knows about you to measure and target advertising. You can control this in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, and most browsers and ad blockers can block the pixel entirely. Blocking it does not affect your ability to use this site or book an appointment.

What we deliberately do not do

Some things are worth stating because we could do them and chose not to:

  • We do not sell or rent personal information.
  • We do not load website fonts from a third party. They are served from our own site, so no font provider sees your visit.
  • Our reviews page shows saved copies of public Google reviews rather than an embedded Google widget, so viewing it does not report your visit to Google.
  • We do not take payments on this website.
  • We do not run an advertising network, and no third party buys ad space here.

How long we keep things

Appointment and customer records are kept in our scheduling system for as long as we need them to service your equipment, honor warranties, and meet our record-keeping obligations as a licensed contractor. Server logs are short-lived and rotate automatically. Values stored in your browser last until you clear them, and the campaign tags last only for your current browsing session.

Your choices

You can:

  • Call us at (928) 499-0698 instead of using the booking assistant, if you would rather not use it.
  • Clear your browser data to remove anything stored on your device.
  • Block the Meta pixel with browser settings or an ad blocker.
  • Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@airdesignelectric.com or call. We may need to keep records tied to work we performed.

Children

This site is meant for homeowners and property managers arranging service. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Where we operate

We serve the Prescott, Arizona area and our information is handled in the United States. If you are visiting from somewhere with different privacy laws, be aware that your information will be processed here.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes mean the practices described here changed — it is worth re-reading if you are about to book.
